| cook pass babtridge | poor colour selections there's been lots of talk on here about the limited choice of colours available on the mini, but we're not the only ones. My missus just got some brochures from Ford on the Ka & Fiesta (yes i know but she was only interested in the Sport Ka, they sent the Fiesta one probably more in desperation ). The Sport Ka comes in black, dark metallic blue or one of 3 shades of silver/grey, with no interior option - just black. the only mainstream manufacturer with a decent sized range of colours seems to be Renualt. The Clio comes in a range of 16 metallics, 4 non-metallics & 2 limited edition colours. Volvo also offer an interesting range of colours with several pearlescent options |

Offline | Indeed the new Volvo V50 has a colour range I quite like. In addition the new Peugeot 407 seems to have a huge colour range including a bright blue I'd like on a mini. Still at least we have those expensive new flip colours. ![]() |

Offline | In the US the Honda Civic hatchback only has four choices (silver, white, blue, black) as does the Dodge Neon SRT-4 (silver, blue, red, black). What makes me so upset is how BMW charges extra just for the "Metallic" colors which, in my opinion, are the nicer shades for the Mini. But I'd rather pay a little extra to get a color I truly love. |
