Offline | How do you feel about ordering w/out pricing? How do you guys feel about placing orders for 05' Coopers without the updated MSRPs and prices of options/packages. For me, I wasn't that concerned about the prices, I just wanted one REALLY BAD . I mean I knew they wouldn't go up that much but still - anybody holding out til' Mini releases the prices? |

Offline | Yeah, I'm getting sick of this interim BS wait while M-USA wrings their hands over pricing. They really need to announce this soon here; it's been near two months since M-INT announced the changes and the natives are REALLY getting restless I'm supposed to place my order sometime after 7/1 (after 6 mo wait), and I was assured that I'd be able to spec and price an 05 S by that time. Did your MA say that you'll pay MSRP? If so, I wouldn't sweat it too much because I don't see the base going up more than $450 (remember they snuck in a price hike of around that much 6 mos ago) and packages $25-50, if that. I actually believe there will be another hike 1/05 when certain new OEM options are introduced, like the LSD and armrest. Perhaps. Jimbo |

Offline | of gas, milk, and other price hikes yah, that's what I've heard, aboot 2.5-3%. Oh well at least we'll get some improvements, unlike the previous price hike that surprised many And yes it does bug me that a car can be formally ordered and sold to a consumer without accurate and final price disclosure. I was in the car biz many years and for a company to do this is downright weird (and perhaps illegal in some states?) Hopefully very soon here we'll know. Jimbo |

Offline | I ordered mine on June 1st. Supposedly it's due for production in build week 28 (july 5th-ish) with a delivery of mid August. I was a little bit uncomfortable ordering without set prices, but I had priced everything out according to 2004 specs so I have a rough idea. The only thing the dealer couldn't provide me with a price for was the chrono pack (extra gauges in the center, speedo moved over to the steering column with the tachometer). The dealer was under the impression that it was going to be in the $500 (USD) range, so i skipped it. |
