Offline | I've got the blues... I'm torn! I visited the local MINI dealer (Universal City, CA) yesterday and got my first look at the new MINIs. I realize that my favorite exterior color is Electric Blue, but my favorite interior style is the Lapis Blue leather. Of course, they didn't have that combination on hand, but I was trying to visualize it by glancing back and forth at two different MINIs very quickly, and I realize that the different blues would probably clash in a horrible way. Any ideas? Currently, my favorite exterior colors (in order) are: - Electric Blue - Liquid Yellow - Pure Silver Though I have yet to see Chili Red. |

Offline | Re: I've got the blues... Hi odigity, welcome to MINI2! Believe or not , you are not the first person to fear the clashing blues (sounds like a band ) as numerous MINI2 members have the same concern as you with Indi Blue and Lapis blue. But, the way I see it is that when you are outside the car, you can't really see the seats inside car. When you are inside the car, you can't really see the outside of the car and the seats at the same time. So, it is only for the short 3 seconds you are actually climbing in the car that you might notice the colors being different from each other. ![]() + 2002 MINI Cooper S - Dark Silver / White roof, Sport, Premium, Lapis blue leather + 1965 Mini Traveller - Tartan Red / White roof, 1275, Cooper S discs, fully restored/renewed |

Offline | Welcome to the world of mini. So many ways to make it your own.... And when you do select a color, that is just the tip of the iceberg! Have fun but don't have the blues.... Most fun on 4 wheels. #9 Cooper at Baron KC. June 2002 build. Sport Chili Red/White. |

Offline | i'm getting that colour combination-electric blue and lapis blue. i know that many people think that because they're different blues, they will clash. i, however, disagree and believe it will be a more unique combo since every other electric blue MINI will have black seats. although i have yet to see the combo in person, i don't think it will look too badly. |
