I have a deposit held at Motor City Mni for a 2005 Cooper (chili red, white roof, premium, cold, sport packages, antthracite interior...etc.).

I've since changed my mind and am going to go back and get my deposit.

My question is...are there still people out there desparate enough to "buy" my place in line? I have a "week 28" build date..whatever that means.

If there is not an opportunity to sell my spot, then i'll just go back and get my money from the dealer.

Just wondering what you all thought.

Where exactly is Motor City Mini...I'm assuming Detroit?

Yes, Motor City Mini is in the detroit area.

What about navigation? Auto-wipers? Harman Kardon? Park Distance Control? What interior (leather/cloth)?

No..really..i'm NOT money hungry. I'm not looking to gouge anybody - honestly.

My point was simply that I have a guaranteed place and a july build date (supposedly) on an '05 model.

Before turning it back to the dealer..i figured if there was somebody who wanted it...they can buy me out of it (for at least my down payment and any extra would be nice..but not my goal).

As for options...i ONLY added the thre packages and nothign else.

I got the cool steering whieel...black leatheretted/ interior...with the dark door inserts and anthracite interior bits.

Well nomogates, I have an order in at Motor City MINI as well for a July build date. I don't think it will make any difference though to grab your spot as we are probably close to eachother. Who was your Sales Rep?
