Australia Xenon problems?

Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with their xenon headlights?

I've noticed that the external plastic lens are hazy with the lights on, but this is not apparent with the lights off. The only reason I've noticed it now is because my other headlight had to be replaced due to water condensation in the lens (different problem), and this is now quite obvious comparing the new xenon unit with the other side.

Is it due to degradation of the plastic (my car is only a year young), or is it residue of some sort?

Also, the new unit has a very slight yellow tinge compared with the old one (it is definitely xenon).

Any ideas or similar experiences?

don't know about the condensation part, but I do know that xenons actually change color slightly over time. they 'settle in' over the first few hours of operation, which is why the new one is a slightly different color.

1 of my xenons failed within the first week of ownership of my 04 MINI. i took it back to the dealership that said it was an internal wiring failure in the sealed light unit and they replaced it. not had anyother issues since tho

My xenons are great, I totally love them. Don't think I'll go back to Halogen if I have the option on future cars.
