| MINI2 Senior | Boot Space? Was thinking to my self today....what things don't really fit in the MINI boot that fit in most other car boots? For example, I bet a set of golf clubs won't fit in! I imagine you would have to put the back seats down! |

Offline | other things that don't fit in the boot.... golf umbrella more than a couple of cases of wine you can get quite a lot in with seats down though! But, a warning to you all, the plastic back of the front seats scuffs and scratches very, very easily. I'm seriously considering getting one of the boot liners as featured here...http://www.dave.mcrae.btinternet.co.uk/images/ACC21.JPG maybe not the most stylish of MINI accessories, but practical and functional none the less!! kjs |

| Nice TTs......... | Honestly, not a lot fits, though its no worse than a Honda Civic I had from new in 1993, remember the split hatch version, the VTEC, great noise from that engine!! Ooops, maybe this should go in that other famously long thread !! ![]() Global Moderator |

Offline | You could theoretically fit a dead body into the boot of a MINI.......as proved by Russ Swift, when he got a volunteer into the boot twice at Gaydon. ![]() There is just one moon and one golden sun; And a smile mean friendship to ev'ryone; Through the mountains divide, and the oceans are wide; It's a small world after all. |

There was something in the accessories brochure on baldie's website http://www.dave.mcrae.btinternet.co.uk/images/ACC20.JPG (how many plugs is that today...?? ) about a "luggage compartment cover", but it sounded like just the parcel shelf to me, but I could be completely wrong on this though!!!Of course, you could try my friendly BMW/MINI dealer(s) in Lancs or Oxon....kjs |

Offline | I'm actually very surprised at the amount of room in the trunk of my Mini. It fits two suitcases just fine. It also fits all the groceries I ever buy in one outing ... about six bags. We drove to Vegas (about 450 miles from home) and never wished for more space. Though if we did, we could just drop the seats ... but so far we haven't ever needed to! ![]() |
