I ordered a windscreen with a sun shade strip. Absolutely pathetic. It only extends about 2 inches and is hardly noticeable. Is this a defect or are they all like this?

I was thinking of ordering this for our new MCS but my dealer advised me not to bother for the very reasons you've identified !

Its not a defect .. with the short window on the mini accorrding to most laws about the strip it can only extend no more than two inches. Reg. Sunstrip are about 4" but thats for the cars with laydown windows where the strip doesnt become an obstruction to your normal vision at night.

I have seen some on ebay. You can choose from a few different colours and they have amini logo in the middle. Looked quite deep and were not expensive. If i remember correctly they were under £10
