Old or New Cooper?

I am collecting diecast auto toys, and feel that recent model use a lot of plastic material. I found that new MINI use a plastic all over, while old MINI had iron instead. It could be justified in view of price, but felt sorry how quality of car has been sacrificed in a decade.

Ummmm...... Welcome to MINI2.COM yaseusa, and congratulations on your first post.

Once I can figure out how to "split" a thread, I will start a new thread on this subject for you somewhere,so it will get the attention it deserves.

cheers

OK yaseusa, I've split your question from the "A pittance defined" thread. Let's see what other members think.

If you were making a comparison between the quality of Model's and the REAL MINI, please let me know and I'll revise the thread title.

Cheers
