The shipping information from Wallnius Wilhelmsen shows that my "S" left port on 4/14 aboard the ship Trinidad, and will arrive in the US on 4/23. But the owner's lounge still says "awaiting transport". Anybody else had this experience?

The owners lounge is off of the MINIUSA website and once you get a build number or the VIN you can set up an account and track your car. Ken my S says it's still awaiting transport(AT) and the dealer says I should get the car in the first half of May. I have not checked the shipping web site, I looked for the site on here but missed it.Kindly, what's the web address? Thanks

Go to www.2global.com/Global/Root.jsp
Then click on "cargo tracking"
Then click on "auto"
Then enter the last seven letters/digits of your VIN

The reason my car is still "awaiting transport" on the owners' lounge is because for some reason it didn't make the ship leaving on 4/14 as originally scheduled. It will leave on 4/21 now (I hope) on the ship JINGU MARU

I'd love to know the shipping site address, too!

My educated guess, having worked for a web-based company, is that the updates to the Owners' Lounge lag behind reality by any possible margin. For all we know, these updates may be handled manually, honestly. Or, if not, a scheduled info upload may have failed and no one has yet noticed. If you can imagine an issue, it probably exists. Anything is possible.

Just an update on this.

My MINI arrived on a boat in NY on May 01. The ship leaves on May 02. This is all according to the shipper at www.2global.com/Global/Root.jsp . The shipper still hasn't shown my being offloaded from the ship. MINIUSA now says that my MINI is at the vehicle processing center. This is one of the few times that I have heard of MINIUSA being ahead of the shipper in keeping the data about my car updated. I actually wonder who is right. I will post another message once the shipper updates his page since it shows the exact date/time the car was offloaded.

Hopefully we are starting to get data that is more up to date.

My car is on the TRINIDAD. Yesterday the status in the O.L. changed from Awaiting Transport to En Route. This was about 4-5 days after the TRINIDAD had set sail.
