Unhappy Navman Help?

Any Navman experts out there?

I had to hard boot my Ipaq recently.

Reinstalling the Navman software, did the usual, made sure my firewall was turned off even - anyway, when I try to activare the Navman software, I'm getting a message 'Authentication Error - Please register Smart ST Professional from the application installer CD' - this is after my PC is telling me I have successfully registered.

ActiveSync is working, but the Ipaq doesn't seem to accept that I have registered - any ideas?

Hmm... I think that I had the same trouble when I had to re-install my Navman.... This is going to sound silly, but do you have more than one CD/DVD drive in your computer? I seem to remember having strange registration difficulties that were caused by some odd reason by not using the CD/DVD drive with the first assigned drive letter. (ie, if you have a CD_ROM with the drive letter D, and another drive with E, installing using E causes issues)

Hope this helps. If not, I've been putting off re-re-installing my Navman software. I could see if any registration silliness happens to me.

Sorry Aiden, I have not come across this at all, and I recently had to re-install the Navman software with no issues after I accidently allowed the battery to drain completely

Hope you can resolve the issue soon!
