You think that you're in control of your life and then you go and do something stupid!

I went out with Adamlondon69 yesterday (friday 9/07/04) and test drove a JCW S just as a bit of fun I enjoyed it because I only have a Cooper but Adam has an S already. I noticed quite a difference in the two cars but Adam didn't feel that much but still had a good time driving it.

When we got back to the showroom I priced up a cooper s with two different Specs one with an aero kit and one without. The one with came out at £20,460.87 and the one without came in at £19,022.83.

So instead of going away to think about this I decided that I would payb the £750 deposit and order it

I know they say retail therapy is good for you but at £19K is that just pure madness?

P.S Can't wait for it to arrive but thats not till November

I know im gonna do something mad like this soon, i'm on my second MCS this one having covered 7500miles since 1st March (ouch) - got to take an S works out on my own last weekend and this gave me the ' I WANT ONE'S ' but as the price of the works kit is so expensive I know I cant realistically afford it now im thinking along the lines of BBR/Hartge grrrrr but dont know what to do - I think i'll end up doing the same as Trainman and just going out there and getting it sorted

Nice spec! although white wheels are not good will mean lots of cleaning or they'll turn yellow after a while.

I wanted blue/black leather but it meant you have to have blue carpet i prefer black so went for full black. How long you got to wait?

Nice spec choice Trainman.

Dont feel bad , Im on my 3rd new Mini ( 1x cooper & 2 x mcs ) and swore to my self that this one is going to last me for at least 2 years . Its now 8 months old but i have a major problem.

I am the valuer/wholesaler for a BMW dealer in Sydney. I get to see loads of Minis all the time & yesterday we got colour samples & info on the new spec cars arriving in sept.

An all hyper blue chilli pack " S " with sunroof , chrome int & ext , colour coded int , black hood lining , chrono pack , alarm , bonnet stripes & spots could tempt me.

Not that i ve given it much thought !
