No MINIs at Chicago Show!

I was very disappointed to see that BMW did not bring the MINI to Chicago.

I so was looking forward to sitting in one and getting to check it out in person. The guy at the BMW stand wasn't sure why they did not have them there other than that space may have been an issue.

Jag did not show their new X-Type either. :'(

I was also extremely dissapointed that there were no MINIS. I was also dissapointed that there was not a Porsche GT there. It's almost like Porsche and BMW think this show is not IMPORTANT enough.

i guess i'm glad i didn't travel to the show to see the new mini then. Had planned on making the 5 hour drive to chi town.

They didn't bring one to the Minneapolis show either. I'm glad I didn't have to travel very far to the show, I would have been extremely ****ed. The only car I even bothered to sit in was the Audi TT.

I was just at the Minneapolis Auto show as well today, but i knew ahead of time that there was not going to be a Mini there. Dissapointed with the overall cars there, and usually am each year. March is mad time for auto shows so there is only so many auto shows that the show cars can make it to, and well frankly the Minnesapolis auto show isn't that big. Supprised that the BMW spot didn't have a m3, m5, or z8, or m coupe.

Audi TT - did you see the back seats? oh yea...there wasn't any. And how about that Mitshubishi Thing....what was that...an urban assult vechicle? Dodge had a pretty bad looking one too. God who would buy those things????

That Chrysler concept '57 style thingy has to be the ugliest piece of crap I've ever seen. Looking around for other sporty compacts, I was suprised to see only one neon, and no good example of an Impreza with a real performance package. The title of ugliest car EVER has finally been snatched from the '79 Ford Fairmont and given to..... the Aztec s.u.v.

Oh, and on another off topic rant....who the hell buys a Porsche with an automatic?
