This is a Mini Cooper on the test track at Cowley in oxford. Sent in by a very resourceful MINI2 visitor!

We'll hopefully have some more exclusives in the near future, so watch this space!

Paul

I'm pretty impressed by the small amount of body roll in the picture. I'm sure this example has a performance suspension on it, maybe it's a Cooper S. Or some further development beyond the S specs.

Don't think the car pictured is a Cooper S because it doesn't have a hood scoop.

The March issue of Roundel (BMW CCA) Magazine has a spy photo of the Cooper S on page 26. I don't have a scanner so I can't post the picture.

When I checked in at my local BMW dealer asking for some news, they gave me a brochure meant for members of BMW group only. There are some pictures I haven't seen on any site so far, especially one of a quite dirty Cooper S prototype, marked as '5' with a californian plate. Since I have a scanner, I could send those pictures to mini2.com, if anyone is interested.

No, this wasn't a Cooper S. All the cars from the Cooper film are either Mini Ones or Coopers.
Although they were pre production cars.

Looking forward to seeing a front view of the Cooper S...supposed to be something else really.
