Offline | If you have access to the US cable/satellite network called Speedvision, you can catch a good story on the classic Mini along with nice footage of the new MINI. The program to look for is called Motorvision (it's a translated version of a German TV show) and it should be repeated during the week - check the schedules. This week's Motorvision episode covered the M3, the Peugeot 607, and finally a story on the history of the Mini with lots of archive footage of classic Minis. At the end, the story moves on to the new MINI and there is spy video of a COOPER S mule test running at the Nurburgring, plus lots of footage of a German registered red/white new MINI COOPER driving through the countryside. Recommended! ![]() |

Offline | I saw the show last night. Watching it in action just makes me want it more. They showed some track footage but it was only a mini cooper and not the S they showed. For a cooper it was handling that track mighty fine! I can't wait to see more footage! Jay |

Offline | I watched the tape again - although the test MINI is wearing some disguise, there's no hood (bonnet) scoop so it must have been a non-S MINI running at the Nurburgring. It looked so fast through the turns I thought it must be a COOPER S -- I can't wait until I can drive one! |

Offline | I went to speedvision.com to check the air times for motorvision and guess what - MINI picture/article on their home page (today May 2). Looks like the Motorvision show airs every Sunday at 7P Eastern/4P Pacific, and again at 11P Eastern/8P Pacific. (US times - does Speedvision only air in the US?) I hope I haven't missed the MINI footage. If so I'm going to email Speedvision to see if I can buy a tape of the show. Thanks for the tip Bruce. |

Offline | Doug, you're welcome. But check the schedule again -- Motorvision is shown on Speedvision more than just twice a week. This week it is on at least 4 times. |
