Offline | I have ordered my MINI cooper and just thought i would share it with you all. I have settled for silver and a black roof. With the pepper pack and single CD, I couldn't have the mini-disc player on an august build car, but I wasn't to bothered. I have settled for the silverstone alloys that are included with the pepper pack. The BMW MINI intranet is excellent with good pictures of nearly everything you could want. I wish we could have access to that. The silverstone 8 spoke 15inch wheels look good and in my opinion are better than the 7 hole standard alloys. |

Offline | On a related point, if i had bought exactly the same car from germany (left hand drive) I would be paying under £11000 at the present exchange rate. The German MINI (www.mini.de) web-site lets you configure the exact car you want and prices it up for you. You can get by without knowing much german, or any. |

| Moderator & Sponsor | Rob - I suspect you may have created a monster with this posting as it'll get bigger and bigger with each passing day as more people (like me) put their orders down! I want to be the 1st to say I've put an order in for a MINI ONE - you know..that one that's NOT a Cooper?!!..;0) It's bright Yellow and has just about every bell and whistle you can think of, so I can't get my paws on it until October (but at least I might have saved up some cash for it by then??) Funny how it feels almost intimidating on this site saying that I've bought a ONE, but hey ho..:0) |

Offline | I know the feeling Dogger - Ive put down a deposit on a ONE, but I'm holding fire on ordering until I've actually sat in one. Trouble is by then I will be way down the list. NB my local BMW dealer has now got a MINI area, but no sign of the car yet! :9 |

Offline | I will have to stretch my finances to get the cooper I want, but I think the MINI in general will hold its value well. My last car was a VW POLO which I bought just after the new model was released and that has held its value well. I think the ONE is a good option, especially with the salt package. You will be able to add all sorts of after market accessories anyway, so no one will know what car is what anyway after a couple of months all badges will be replaced anyway. |

Offline | Just confirmed order for Mini Cooper, silver and black. Chilli pack but with sunroof, a/c and CD. Couldn't resist it! SO much spec. I have seen a few around on the road coz I live 20 odd miles from the factory. When I saw the silver and black Cooper I almost wept with delight. Roll on August/September. |

Offline | Hi Sav, Good to hear another follower of the silver with a black roof. I order with the pepper pack, CD player and the TLC package £12320. Did you have any joy asking for a discount, I didn't ask as i thought I wasn't really in a position to bargain as i was ordering months before they went on sale. |

Offline | silver and black. is there any other colour ? (joke) i live only a few miles from the factory and can tell you that this is by far the best colour for the car. my one will indeed be this colour with a chilli pack and cd in late aug / early sept. ps - i had a look at the factory today and the boot spoiler looks good. i hope no one has a white roof on a silver car (yeek) i think i threw up on it today (only joking) |

Offline | I am led to believe the Indie blue with white roof and white wheels looks mighty fine. i don't think you will be able to get a chilli pack on a mini one. You only have a choice of with salt or without. |
