Offline | Ultimate MINI compilation CD for the trip home from the dealer I will be taking delivery of a 2005 MCS in September and will have about an hour drive home. I am looking for suggestions for the ultimate MINI compilation CD for that first trip home from the dealer. Keep it to British bands in honor of the MINIs heritage. Already on the list: The Who - My Generation Led Zepplin - Ramble On -michael |

Offline | T Rex - 20th century boy! A MINI in Houston Texas should be fun - for my first trip I would run it down to Eatzis, near the Galleria, fill up with thoroughly British stuff like clotted cream, flapjacks, bacon & the like. First weekend I would cruise down to Galveston, with the aircon full on, cuttin' through the Texas Humidity! Please don't stick one of those 'Texas is bigger than France' stickers on the back, that would be cruel Well done on your purchase & looking forward to seeing your playlist! - blues |

Savoy Brown - 'Hellbound Train' Chris Rea - ' Auberge, Daytona' Dire Straits - 'Heavy Fuel' Last edited by 4wheeldrift : Jul 13th, 2004 at 06:34 PM. Reason: Thought of something to add. |

| MINI2 Senior | I was pleased to find the Mini stereo to be rather good, my Renault one can't play my favourite CD, Funeral For A Friend. I'm sure pretty much everybody hasn't heard of them, but it's an absolutely awesome rock band, not hardcore like Led Zeppelin but rather moving never the less. If you have a spare tenner, buy it. You won't be disappointed! http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...981854-3874009 -Rob |
