Just seen our new Cooper in BEP ready for delivery, looks great! One thing that puzzles me is we have ordered the MFSW, and it is a 2 spoke, I thought these had been phased out in favour of the 3 spoke, in fact several of the 2005's had 2 spokes... Can anyone shed any light?

I'll try and post some pics for those of you who are undecided about choosing BEP, when we collect the car next Tuesday..

The 3 spoke wheel has been an option for a while, but I still see many '04s coming with the 2 spoke.
Doesnt seem right hearring about an '05 ready for delivery, when my '04 isnt here yet.

I think its two spoke with no Chilli Pack, and three comes when you add on Chilli

could be wrong, but let me know if you had chilli pack please, as my other half has a new Cooper Cab on order and wants the two spoke but keeps getting told she can't have it, so want to know how you got yours

Rakey,I was under the impression that you could opt for either steering wheel

regardless of ordering the chilli pack.?????

The cooper comes with the standard plastic two-spoke steering wheel. The pepper pack upgrades the steering wheel to a leather two-spoke steering wheel (i.e. the MINI Cooper S wheel) and the chili pack upgrades it to the leather 3-spoke steering wheel.

The Cooper S comes with the MINI Cooper S Sports Leather Steering Wheel as standard and the Chili pack upgrades it to the Three Spoke Sports Leather Steering Wheel.

That is confusing!! But I hope that sorts it out for you.

The car is with the Pepper pack, so this may explain the 2 spoke. Also on first impression the colour does seem more purple than the swatch in the dealers or the previous pics on here, but I have not seen it in full daylight yet..

Also the chrome line interior looks the business with anthracite..

by the way the full spec is:
