I have MINIMOL
I like it because it's like "minimal"; it's my MINI2 screen name; and my actual name is Molly.

I was thrilled when I got it and saw the letters were blue- they match so well with my blue MINI. The letters/numbers on regular plates in Tenn. are usually black, and there is a big ugly green state of Tenn in the middle, which makes the letters/numbers hard to read. No green state either with the personalized plates. The other thing I like about personalized plates is that the money paid for them goes to support the arts in Tenn., which is good, since there is no state income tax, there is not a lot of money going to the arts here.

If you only caught a quick glance it would be pretty easy to confuse the two, but IB is a fraction darker and deeper than HB. Both beautiful colours though.

My inspiration for this message came from my constantly dreaming about my MINI while I was waiting for delivery. It's also a play on expressions like "dream big" or "think big." Sometimes smaller is better!

'05 S - REV DASH
This is an engineering term for the original version of a document (revision -). Since this is our first S, well, there you go. It also refers to revving the engine and dashing along,

California Dept of Motor Vehicles turned down my first choice "ZGZAGZ" eight weeks after paying for it, because it "...promoted substance abuse"....

Twelve weeks after that, I got my second choice "LV DRVN"

Wife originally reserved GOS2 11 for "Goes to eleven" (Spinal Tap reference) but when she went to the DMV to get the plates when the car was delivered, we were told that someone else already had it. I guess when she reserved the second plate, it dropped her first reservation. Oh well.

Mine is actually my wedding anniversary... In Japan we can only use numbers, no letters... One cool thing is that numbers can have different readings that come from their Kanji... For example:

32-98 says: MI NI - KU PA = Mini Cooper... Cool, eh?

I was going to do that, but since my wife and I ordered the car on our wedding anniversary, we went with that number sequence...

I am now the happy owner of a personal number plate for my MCS due next month.

25 days and counting!!!!

Just thought I may throw caution to the wind and remind people that the DVLA sale of marks website is quite good and certainly better than any others when it comes to price.

Just a thought though - can't understand why this plate is still for sale

I got NA54MCS for my Cooper S last year

NA as this is my initials
54 cos it was a 54 plate
MCS for Mini Cooper S

Cost me £500 but worth it though!
