In Sweden it is possible to buy and create your own personal plate.
A friend in Gothenburg who owns a MINI Cooper S R53 has got this combo (if you do not like nasty words, look away ):
GR8SHAG
The person on the Road and Traffic Inspektion Board that is controlled by the government obviously did not understand english when approving for that plate

I think the car had been in a crash as the windscreen rubber was out of alignment on the drivers side and there was a rattle in the drivers door when I shut it that wasn't there on the passenger side. You don't tend to think about these things when you buy from a BMW dealer.

Of course it's not a legit plate in this country, but it's up front and proud of it:

Safety fast,

If I remember aright, 100 MPH belongs to Bristol Cars and is usually on their factory demonstrator.

Brilliant plate!!

There's someone around here with a black BMW who has B18NDE with the middle part of the 8 removed by whoever made the plate...needless to tell you what colour hair she has really

Aaand someone has (only saw this last night parked very close to me...) M12CRA on a Micra - could be worth something?

There's a bright white VW Golf R32 around here (saw it last night doing ~70 in a 30 limit) that has the license plate (including illegal spacing on a chopped-down sized plate):
R....6OLF

NeuroBeaker - Proud owner of "Zeus" (a 'slightly modified' 2004 MINI ONE).
*WARNING!* Thesis writing in progress. Experiments continue. Multi-tasking? Explosion imminent!

I've seen

G 5POT on a TVR

and

NOT 1 and BUT 2 on two Rolls Royces parked next to each other on the drive.

I also did a search on DVLA to find out that

CUN7

HAS been released...

I also spotted a Cooper Related plate the other day on the DVLA site. But it depends on how illegal you're prepared to get.

M100 OPA

can look like...

I have L77ARC on my "S" obviously legally spaced so it looks nothing like MARC from a distace, only been pulled once, got away with a warning.

First Mini for 15 yrs and lovin it
