Request for help from a dealer and/or '05 MINI (inc. Convertible) owners...

I'm interested in the new puddle lights on '05 MINIs. They're under the door panel on either side of the car and light up when you open the door.

Can an owner or dealer please take some digi phots of the lights for me and post them?

Also, if possible, could a dealer look into if and how we could get these onto an earlier model MINI?

Agreed, I want to find out what other '05 bits can be retrofitted.

There's not many bits I'd like, but that's one for sure. It's just cool, especially in the winter when you get to see it more (and get (slightly) more puddles).

Great pics posted! I like the led in the door handle, but that clock is so dinky U need a mag glass! Some nice stuff coming out on the 05.

Are these puddle lights and door handle lights standard across the range?
Or are they part of the interior lights package?

That's probably my biggest complaint about my 04 MCS - the visors are worthless. Anyone know if those can be retrofitted? (I kinda doubt it - the earlier models won't have whatever the visor clamps screw into, but it's worth a shot!)

Can't be done ATM via dealer only means. You can get all the rings for the dash, except the rev counter ring. That requires the purchase of a rev counter.

You can make a set up using the dealer rings in conjunction with an aftermarket rev counter ring. I know this as Minty has done that to his car, so it is possible with a little time and effort .
