Factory tour - will I spot my mini!!??

I've just booked a factory tour for september - the week my mini is due to be built. So, I'll be keeping a close eye on things hehehe! Thought it would be cool to go and visit the week mini is being built - I'll be collecting it the week after!

Don't think you'll spot your MINI...a buddy of mine works in the factory and I asked him to drop down and see it, and he wasn't allowed on the floor (he's in IT). Especially bummed as I was hoping he could snap some photos, but even emps aren't allowed to take photos (if they're allowed on the line)...

Nah, I don't really expect to see it :-) Just fancied doing the tour around the time she'll be built :-) I only live about 20 miles away.

What day are you going ??

i will be visiting on the 13th September at 9.30am..i hoping that i will see one similar to mine that im getting in December,

its hyper blue with a white roof, what do you think my chances are??

Went on the tour at the end of May and part of our group was a MINI2 who's cabrio was being built whilst we were there. Whilst there was loads the same colour as the one he had ordered it was impossible to distinguish his MINI from the rest. But, he could have seen it and not known it was his.
Have a great time at Oxford it's a great day out.

Billy - I'm going on the 6th - hopefully getting my car the following week! Be cool if you see a car like the one you're getting :-) The build week for mine is the week I'm going on the tour - I've ordered a pepper white / black.

i mailed them, let them know how many of you want to go on tour and they will get back to you (very quickly) and will give you a time and date when you may go

they will send you a questionaire (pdf file) just filll it in and send it back.....job done

I'm booked on a factory tour the week mine is due to be built too, just in case I spot my baby!! Mine is due to be built w/c 31 July but my dealer said they'll have it in on 7th Sept - so how come my car takes so long........................?
