Question Unknown Extra Cost

Ordered my MINI Cooper on Saturday after many weeks of deciding on spec. Obviously went for the Pepper Pack to which the dealer asked if I wanted to spec the brilliant silver trim. Yes please. When I got home I noticed I had been charged £100 for it. I was under the impression it was part of the Pepper Pack. Am I wrong?

I need new excuses to go for a drive !

Yes it is part of the Pepper Pack, although I believe you can now have the pepper/salt/chili without it, you should not be charged extra for it.

You definitely shouldnt have been charged extra for silver trim if you specified the Pepper Pack........

My dealer seems to afraid of his phone ringing and won't answer. Having looked at the figures I can afford the extra £100, maybe a little more, any ideas what to spend it on?? I'm thinking either the ASC+T or possibly bonnet stripes and the clear side indicators.

ASC+T - helps keep you on the grey stuff...

Also adds another switch to the centre console

I'll second that Eliseboy, ASC+T is great as it controls the understeer, especially in the wet
Gives you more confidence too...
God knows what will happen to my confidence when I get DSC on my S

Dealer has called me back - although I did specify the silver trim it was put on as the wrong code as now you can choose not to have it. If you are ordering in the future check your order closer at the dealer.
ASC+T now added to make use of the £100 - money in and then straight back out again. Easy
