| Mini2 Procrastinator | Nice Mini Features Forgive me those of you who already know about this but for those who don't know, then this is quite interesting. I am a sucker for finding out hidden/secret/undocumented features. When I got my Mini, i must have gone into spasm mode out of joy, and pressed the unlock button about a million times (about 7) on the key. To my amazement, the windows both opened slightly! If you do not follow, go out to your baby, press the unlock button about 5-10 times and the windows will wind down for ventilation for those baking days (something we don't see very often in the UK ).In my eyes its the little things that count (maybe why i like the mini?) If you know of any tricks your mini has please let us all know! |

![]() Now answering to Lady J! | I've had my Cooper since March 2003 and only when I went in the garage to go and order my S two weeks ago did I find out that my Mini did that!!!! If you press and hold the button the windows go right down - had no idea that it did that. found that quite exciting! Yes I know I am sad but little things please little minds! |

Offline | Cool - love those hidden extras. My baby arrives next week (how excited am I!) so haven't yet had the chance to play. Post any others you find & I'll have to check them out when she arrives. McKMini |

Offline | When your in the car, hold up the lock switch (by fog light switch etc) Keep it held, and the windows will both come down at the same time 2 As far as im aware it will do that if the car is locked/unlocked (does on my cooper) ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | Holding down the unlock button on the key for a few seconds will also open the sunroof as well as the windows. I love being able to do this as I approach my car and any bystanders wonder what's going on. Also useful for being able to open up the car from inside the house on a hot day to let it cool down before getting in. |
