51 Reg Peugeot 206 LX 1.1 (I HATED it!)
52 Reg MINI One (Love it but is only mine for another 7 days)
54 Reg MINI Cooper (arrives in 7 days, if you hadn't guessed )

Drove (as well as above):

Last model Ford Fiesta 1.8 Diesel (My learner car, would go by just taking your foot off the clutch, with no gas)
2 x Current style Vauxhall Corsas (very easy to drive, small yet good looking (after the MINI of course )
Toyota Yaris 1.0 (hello, bhp, are you in there?)

I wanna drive my dad's BMW 525iSE, but he won't let me. I wonder why,,,

Ford Escort 1.3 GL - Cheapo first car
Ford Escort 1.6 Ghia - Ended up on the wrong end of a car exchange within the family.
Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 Flair - Bought through work - Paid £7.3k for it, did 15k in 6 months sold for £7k
Vauxhall Corsa 1.5 TD GLS - As above
Honda Civic Coupe - First company car
Toyota MR2 T Bar (MkI) - Bought when I chopped company car in
Citroen Xantia Turbo Diesel - Bought when we had our first child - 3 into 2 doesn't go!
Mini Cooper S - Bought as my "plaything"

Driven....well the interesting ones:

Lotus Carlton - 165+mph on the Lotus test track
Lotus Excel - Lotus's attempt at variable valve timing
Lotus Esprit SE / S4 / V8 - Designed the induction system on the V8.....so had to try it out!
Corvette ZR1 - 50 - 70mph in 1.6 secs, even the digital speedo couldn't keep up.
Lotus Elan (FWD) - THE definitive FWD car......END OF STORY!
Lotus Elise - Mucho Funo

Guess what.....I used to work at Lotus.......hmmmmmm

Best car.........Lotus Carlton for speed......Lotus Elan for handling

Worst Car......the first.....A COMPLETE SHED!

Sort of chronological order, though many over lapped:

Cavalier 1.6L
Astra 2.0SRi
Mazda 323Gti
Rover 220 Coupe
Fiat Brava HGT
Ford Mondeo ST24
Mazda MX5SE.. about here is when my love of the softtop started!
Lotus Elise
Porsche Boxster S
Mercedes CLK55 AMG Cab
VW Lupo GTi (for sale, see the ad section)

Coming soon.....

Mini Cooper Cab (due Sept 17th)
Porsche 911S(997) or Boxster S - both on order, decide which at Paris Motorshow

Driven... well everything and everything I can lay my hands on. Highlights....

Ford Ka - yep, brilliant. Bought my sister and girlfriend these, great drive round the twisties round here
Ferrari 360 F1 - nuff said, thought of one of these (used of course) but went for the Porsche again
Bentley Continental GT - just got back from a driving day today in this, as my US friends say 'Awesome'
Porsche Cayenne Turbo - if I ever need an SUV - soemthing unreal about a vehicle this big and this hign (and some would say this ugly) going this quickly around a circuit.

Worst car - test drove a SLK320 when looking for my first Boxster -talk about rubbish.

Black Cooper Cabrio Chili; 17" Bullets; Manual a/c; Xenons; Heated Seats; MFSW; Vis pk; Heated Mirrors; TLC; Alpine 9835R + IPod;

Owned:

1985 Opel (Vauxhall) Kadett (Astra) E 1.3S Caravan - My first car, I loved it for that, but in retrospective by far the worst car I“ve ever driven.

1996 Volkswagen Polo 75 - A proper step forward, not outragiously quick or sharp to drive, but solid and with the amenities of ABS, power steering and 5-speed gearbox

2000 BMW 316i compact - My entrance to the world of sensible and enthusiastic driving! A remarkable simple car by today“s BMW standards, but mechanically refined and with one of the best steerings I“ve ever driven. Still missing the poise and tactility of that car.

Driven - the best ones:

1995 BMW M3 Sedan - A car defined by its outstanding engine. I wasn“t that much into performance driving by the time I drove it, but grip level and precision were impressive

2003 BMW Z4 2.5i - The best handling car I“ve ever driven. I found hard to believe the balance andr the responsiveness.

Driven - the worst ones:

1995 Chrysler Stratus 2.2 - A staggering scrap heap of a car. Doesn“t go, doesn“t turn, doesn“t stop. And doesn“t have approximately the space it promises from outside...

2002 Mercedes A140 - Probably the worst "modern" car I“ve ever driven. I cannot believe a 3.6-metre car could feel so numb and sluggish. Although quite as quick as my former Polo the A is worlds behind in the feeling

1995 Opel (Vauxhall) Astra F 1.6i Caravan - A sluggish estate with an anemic 70 bhp engine matched with gear ratios appropriate for a 400 bhp muscle car. Unbearable

Don“t bother me with: Vans, SUVs and Grandpatronic

Well here goes... not an overly long list but not bad for 6 years A few overlapped... but few remain.

1996 Mini Cooper 35 Anniversary - what a first car!!!... should have kept it
1989 BMW E30 318i - first lessons in RWD
2000 Honda CBR600 - bit too soft... but still nice
2000 Yamaha R6 - now we're talking... very rapid
1995 Mazda Eunos Roadster 1.8i - better than it sounds... lots of fun to drive
2001 Suzuki GSX-R 600 - lovely until some git nicked the front wheel in broad daylight
1998 Mini Cooper 1.3i - not as nice as my first
1998 E36 328i Sport Coupe - Gotta love the straight six
1999 Renault Clio 1.2 - not my finest

2004 Mini Cooper S - to be delivered in 2 weeks

DaaaaYUM Wile - do u own a car sales lot or parking lot? U've driven a TON o' vehicles

I've driven vehicles of family, friends & rentals - can't recall them ALL - ranging from Fords to Land Rovers, but I've only owned:
1- dalmation colored (white with black prime spots ) VW beetle - I owned it in 1984 & I think it was a 1967 beetle with sunroof - LOVED this ragged li'l car - she was MY first that I purchased with MY own $200 & she got me to MANY great parties throughout my college career!

1- silver VW Fox - my first BRAND new car (no sunroof ...but i still enjoyed her)

1- BEAUTIFUL Black 1997 (i think - i'm so bad with years/numbers ) VW GTI - LUVED that CAR immensely!! I must say she was the smoothest ride I've owned - in terms of actual RIDE & the SEXIEST in terms of looks - very sleek with the required sunroof.

NOW, I own the CUTEST car EVER - LUV my CR/W 2004 MC - brought her home in May. Initially, I vowed to stay loyal to VW's (I still think their cars overall are the coolest & most economical as far as a BRAND/Fleet is concerned) - but it didn't take me long to 'abandon ship' once I actually test drove a MINI. Now, all the thumbs up, admiriing glances & friends I've 'gained' thru MINIsites only justifies & solidifies the LUV of my Hot Red Mahma!
