TLC booklet no more?

I have TLC on my new car. On my old cooper I got a booklet of vouchers to use. I have now been told this booklet isn't used anymore and it works from your number plate. Has anyone whose recently picked up a new mini been given the voucher booklet.
I don't have 100% confidence in my dealer

I know when we bought the Diesel just over a year ago, they gave us a voucher book with 5 vouchers in it, but when it came back from the first service the book had been changed to on with only 3!
maybe the diesel TLC is different!

We picked up our 05 spec Cooper S 10 days ago and that came with a TLC booklet, so I would get back onto your dealer and ask for one.!

Got mine 5 days ago.
The format of the book has slightly changed, but its still got spaces for the Dealers stamp etc

Got mine on 1st Sept and I have the TLC vouchers in my hand now !

Yep - I also took delivery four days ago and got a booklet - seems like something you should double check with the dealership

My dealers are not the best. I've give them the benefit of the doubt in the past but more than a few times they have not told to the truth just to avoid work

My advice is to get on to them sharpish - my car (March 04) didn't have the book. It mysteriously appeared after I checked the wallet before taking the car away.

I got one for the wrong car! (Whoops!)

Sorted out by the dealer though, really weird mix up too, the car I got the TLC for was a showroom car, not even one that was on the road!

i've never had a TLC booklet, although my servicing has been covered by TLC - they just check the computer record. i queried this at the time & was told i didn't need one

What is it with them Rob ?.... i know i'm buying my next one from another dealer, probably Newcastle.... I know when I had my last service they insisted I took the TLC vouchers in with me.... its going in for its second service in the next two months ....

It's now a different shape, but to be frank I haven't looked in it yet, so not sure if there are any vouchers or not.

I know that my first TLC booklet wasn't returned to the folder after my first service, thankfully I checked it was there before I left the dealership - then it 're-appeared' very quickly
