Has that got something to do with the free newspaper that are available from train stations around the country?

What the cow has to do with it though I don't know

Richard.

In London a few yaers ago (and in Manchester at the moment) they had these charity cow things.

Basically a plain white fibreglass cow was bought by companies or given to charities to "decorate" as they so wished. These would then be displayed in city centres as advertising gimicks for their sponsors. After a certain amount of time they were auctioned off (Sotheby's were the Auctioneers) and all proceeds went to charity.

The idea has travelled the world I believe. I'm sure I saw some in Calgary a few years ago.
