Offline | I am considering a couple of nice little extras for my new Cooper which I get in 7 days time . I was wondering whether my warranty would be affected by the following bits 'n' bobs:1. Really cool 'Slash cut silencer' from MINI Sport 2. Different rear lamps. 3. Different side indicators. I dont want to buy these things and fit them just incase. |

Offline | Your waranty will be fine, it just wont cover the parts you replace, but the new parts should come with their own warranty anyway so its not a big problem. Most dealers dont mind but there are a few fussy ones out there Scottybhoy |

![]() MINI2 Master | Different Exhaust will invalidate the TLC but not the warranty unless your Warranty claim is sourced to the Exhaust. Rear lamps have no effect nor do side indicators as they can easily be swapped back if ever you have a Prob with the elctrics on the lights etc. ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Build a relationship with your service department, and you'll be just fine with the TLC and warranty. My cooper S Works has thousands of pounds of extra kit above the Works kit, oncluding brembo's and complete exahust replacement - no problem with either tlc or warranty. |
