If I press mine once, the doors & boot open, twice & the windows come down, three times & the lights on the Eiffel Tower start to sparkle & four times & the woman nearest the car gets a spontaneous orgasm

Oh la la

It's five seconds. For the most part it works, but it just doesn't so I have to release the button and hold it down for another 5 seconds.

I find I have to be very careful about holding the button down. If my thumb wobbles even a little, it either does not work at all, or else stops in mid-opening.

I currently have the car programmed so one click unlocks both doors and the boot. When I got it, the first click unlocked only the driver's door, and it seemed I had to click a half dozen times to get the boot unlocked. I did not know the window/sunroof option existed. The result was that I occasionally opened the windows/sunroof a short way without knowing I had done it. I found myself thinking I had left the windows open the night before, and was quite mystified by the whole thing.

Yes you do have to hold it steady for a good 5 seconds once all of the doors are unlocked to bring down the windows. I also found that if there is any radio wave interference, that you will have to hold down again for 5 seconds, not just longer. At least you weren't trying to do this for a few days holding down the lock button instead of the unlock button

I tried it yesterday and it works beautifully now. I love people's reaction to it...I was in a parking lot and there was a car hovering around looking for a spot. They didn't see me but were next to my MINI and next thing they know the windows start rolling down. They look inside and don't see anyone! Then I walk up and they just looked stunned.

Before I got my car the dealer asked me about 15 questions about all the things that can be programmed in the car and that fonction was in that list...It has to be programmed.
