Common Mini Problems?

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a used mini soon and was wondering what endemic problems there are with them. Having owned several BMWs I know they all have their build/design issues depending on their model, some annoying, some that are more serious.

I'm specifically looking at a 2003 Cooper S right now if that helps.

I just got my 05 MC/S and the biggest problem I have is that any shopping trip now takes at least 15 minutes longer. It seems that there is a never-ending pool of people who want to talk about the car whenever I get into or out of it in a parking lot. Other than that, no problems yet. Also remember that an 03 is probably still under warranty, and any problems have probably been taken care of by the previous owner by now. An 03 should be in "the zone." Original problems fixed, and too low a mileage for things to have worn out yet.

My issues have been Faulty Electric Windows and PDC and Rattles. Apart from that the car is fautless
