thinking of purchasing..

Hi, im new to this MINI and im interested in purchasing a MINI Cooper Convertible. I don't need the supercharged version. My question is that I am 6 feet tall weighing 180 pounds.. Will i be able to fit in this car comfortably? and would i be able to take people in the back seats? Has there been any problems with the MINI COOPER CONVERTIBLE or anyhting i should know about before buying?? I dont wnat to get ripped off by the dealer so i would like to know as much as i can about any problems or reliability issues. Would you guys recommend me getting this? It seems like a very good car to go cruising around with and it would be fun as a daily drivier car. Any recommendations?? thanks!

Hello There,

I took a hard-top MCS for a test drive last week. I am 6 feet even and 220 pounds. I was pleasantly suprised as to how "roomy" the car was for its size. It seemed more comfortable than my old RX-7 and VW Rabbit.
Consider too, that I am in a Dodge Ram right now and have more interior than I know what to do with.
You should be finr in the front seat.
The back seat you should NEVER RIDE INT ! ! ! !
That would mean you were not driving the car and therefore unhappy.
The back seat is for the kids and luggage. And the mother-in-law.

No problem. I test drove an '05 MCS cabrio. I'm 6/2" and had plenty of room. In fact, if I adjusted the seat to the extreme aft position, I could hardly reach the pedals. In most cars, I put the seat all the way back so this was a bit of a nice surprise.

Of course, the back seat room is very limited, but who cares?
