Convenience opening via key. - MINI Cooper Forum

On my original Cooper if you held the key in the unlock position the windows would open, hold it to the lock position and the windows would close.
My new Cooper only does the closing, is this because it has the alarm?

Mines got the alarm and does both... November build

I think the windows should open and close with the key remote

...but they don't
