Ok my bros 2002 Mini One (no alarm) - now gives a little beeb from the horn when the button is pressed on the remote fob to unlock the doors.

Has anyone else heard of the problem. Only happens on unlock?

On previous cars i've had thats normally a sign that the alarm sounded at some point since you activated it, but as it doesnt have an alarm that doesnt sound like the answer... has he checked all the doors and boot are locking ?
