Offline | Sellers Beware.... I was recently selling some S spokes when someone tried to lure me into a scam. Here are the details about the way the scam works: http://www.webfarmer.com/scam-alert/ I had never heard of this before, so I wanted to make others aware. |

Offline | I recently listed my '68 Ford pickup on Ebay. Nothing special..just a good old truck. Buy It Now for $750. I had a scam inquiry within 24 hours. I replied - and had the reply added to the listing - that I was born at night ..but not last night. I received the same scam inquiry again the next day...and again in 36 hours. Then I got a fourth that was a variation of the same pitch. In all cases I added my replies to the listing. It was comical. They must be using 'Bots to go through listings and send this to sellers. It was poorly worded...proper nouns were not capitalized. You'd have to be brain dead to fall for them. It is annoying though...but just like the Nigerian Scam...you learn to ignore it.
