Okay...still new here & confused, as I've seen many Mini's w/out a chrome grill...
but just lightly outlined in chrome.

However, when I try to build my own now on the website...am running into it always showing a chrome grill now. (despite my trying to make sure it's de-selected)
Don't know why...as only a few days ago, I could keep it the body paint color w/some edge in chrome...but, not the whole front grill area.

Is this a new re-design?
I wasn't sure 'til now whether to have a chrome front or not. If this is teh case...
then, guess that decision is out of our hands.

Well...on their website...Cooper S's can come w/out the full front chrome grill.
So...is that something different between both.

I had leaned towards the non-S, but now am even more confused.
I hadn't yet decided on chrome grill...just curious if there's a way to get the regular Cooper w/out full front grill in chrome.

If I end up getting a S (for whatever reasons)....then, the decision becomes between Purple Haze & that Aqua Blue. Otherwise, if a regular Cooper, think I'll go for the Purple one.

THe Cooper S has the painted body colour grill. The Cooper is only availlable in Chrome.
But the Cooper S you can option up a chrome grill. Like me

yes.. the cooper is only availible with the chrome grille. On the other hand the S comes standard with the body color grille. The chrome is an extra option. (of course costs money though)

Although you could get the Aero kit and grille (black) for the Cooper I guess.

Just to recap:

- Regular Coopers get the chrome grill outline and the chrome grill ribs/slats
- Cooper S gets the chrome grill outline with body color ribs/slats
- Cooper S with "Chrome Line Exterior" will get chrome grill ribs/slats
- If you get the accessory aero kit, the entire thing is blacked out.

Don't know why I didn't notice that before. Perhaps I was looking at 2004's...who knows.
Well, that presents a new 'rub' as I sort of like the car w/less chrome in the front for some reason....it's nice too to show off the paint color.

But, like I said I've been torn...so if I end up w/the reg Cooper guess that's one decision taken care of! ;-) Appreciate your help again.
