As you can tell from my question, at the moment I know very little about Mini specs! However, I have at last decided to buy a Mini Cooper. I have just started looking through ads and on some see 'chilli pack', but I cannot find any definitive information on what this is exactly. Can someone please explain? It seems to me that from my brief encounters with Mini sites, there are zillions of alternatives available. Please help!

Hi linda

Welcome to the obsession that is MINI 2. The best way to find out what exactly is in the chilli pack would be to go to MINI UK's website and configure a cooper, there you will be given the option to add a chilli pack and it will show you exactly whats included, though basically it's just a pack with the most common accessories.

Lin a Chilli pack on a Cooper is:-

16 inch 7 spoke alloy wheels
Chrome line exterior
Cloth/Leather upholsery
Front fogs
Height adjustable passenger seat
Interior lights package
Interior trim in Silver
On board computer
3 spoke leather sports steering wheel & gear knob
Cooper rear spoiler
Sports seats
Sports suspension plus
Storage compartment package
Floor mats

By the sound of your post u are buying second hand

, if u can afford it buy new as the second hand values are quite steep and the depreciation on a new car should not be too bad after 3 years on the never never

If u do buy new I would recommend the CHROME LINE INTERIOR it"s so cool

As it says .........Salt Pepper and Chili Pack ....chilli being the hottest option , only cosmetc really and nothing to do with the engine

Thanks for all your replies. I eventually bought a 10-month old Solid Gold Cooper (with Chili Pack and quite a bit more besides) and I must say I am really impressed with it. Happy days ahead!
