My local dealer has three 2005 MC's in stock and their web page doesn't have pictures of the cars but they give VIN numbers. Is there a way to determine paint color from the VIN number? I would like to know if I should pay a visit to the dealer or not.

Noppers, color is not in the VIN.

Actually you can determine it by the VIN but you have to have access to BMV records...We do it at work but it's all through BMV records
