Offline | Are Mini Entry Strips Standard on Cooper? Does anyone know what entry strips (ie, strip under the door frames) come as standard on the Mini Cooper? I only ask as we ordered these as a fairly late change to our spec. from the newest UK accessories booklet. Unlike the other extras we ordered, the strips are being fitted by the dealer at £18 each plus a labour charge of £20. I am now a bit uneasy about all of this because I am sure I read somewhere that the brushed metal type entry strips come as standard with the Cooper, so want to just make sure I am not being stitched up. Thanks, Downthedip |

Offline | All Mini's come with standard chrome / brushed sill protection strips. The only difference is the logo, either ONE, COOPER or COOPER S. Unless your getting something different from this you are probably being charged for some thing you shouldn't be. However, The aero kit does not have these as standard. You have to order them separately and stick them on. You could always use the ones that come on the car and re attach them if you have ordered the aero kit. ![]() |

Offline | Yes we are certainly talking about entry strips and not bonnet stripes! Many thanks for all the feedback. According to the dealer there is a difference between the 'standard' strips and the ones in the accessories boooklet. I will have to check it out later as we're getting the car today. |

Offline | aren't the ones in the accessories booklet the ones with the mini wings logo on it instead of the model related ones? which might explain why you are being charged extra rather than having the standard ones on.... |
