Remote Control MINIs

I notice that our local Maplins still have a number of remote control MINIs for sale. £20 for a set of two. Was £25 before Christmas. One operates on 27 MHz and the other 40 MHz so you can race them together. How one person can race them both would be something to see. I bought the convertible from M&S otherwise I would be considering buying.

It is quite good. Model itself could easily have sold for £15-£20 without the full remote control added. Originally selling for £59 but dropped to £29 during the sale. Has a turbo boost - just push the control lever farther forward to get more speed. Reverse doesn't have the boost available so you get turbo speed straight away. Almost too quick to operate indoors. You get all the batteries required plus a container for holding loose batteries if you don't want to use the 750MAh rechargeable supplied. Now that there are 2400MAh batteries available you should be able to have a lreasonable time playing before the batteries need to be recharged. . I doubt whether they would have any left. I picked mine up on 27th Dec
