i was watching out for 10,000 miles so carefully, but when it came, i was 'stranded' in the middle of a journey with no camera. Disgusted! Good idea for a thread though, I def wanted to show off my 10,000 had I had a pic!

Got a long way to go to beat it with a 098765 432.1

Done too many miles for 009876 543.2

Only way to beat it would be with a 123456 789.0

If you haven't got the Sat Nav option you can't do these configurations.

The trip meter comes first on the display on the central speedo. I just missed out on doing 333.3 033333.

Credit where credit's due. 12345 - 678.9 = 11,661.1 and then you had to remember to do it bang on time. You probably had to leave a post it note on the speedo as a reminder, I know that I would have had to have done.

Imagine the frustration of forgetting by even just 1 mile. You would have had to have traded the car for a new one and then started the whole process again! Now there's an interesting excuse for a MINI upgrade.

Personally I don't think it would work if I tried it with Eeyore

I just (by about 10 feet) missed gettng the 234.5 in the pic below - the 012344 didn't roll to 12345 until the mile/10 counter incremented

Last weekend we did a 3 day 620 ish mile round trip and came back 0.2 miles short of 10,000 miles. I thought it was cheating to go up the road and back, so it had to wait until this Saturday morning. The car got a really good clean and an Aero spoiler to celebrate
