What happens to production over Jubilee weekend?

Does anybody know whether it is stopping completely?

What is Jubilee weekend?
My question is will the world cup slow production? In the states there was a piece on National Public Radio (as close as we get to the BBC) about U.K. employers concerned about large numbers of workers calling in sick to watch the games. Some employers were putting large televisions in the work place an letting their employees watch at work.

I've no idea but hopefully it will continue. Would you want a car built on Wednesday after a 4 day weekend where people are being encouraged to party

Currently driving: Silver Volkswagen Lupo GTi, 6 speed, 125bhp

But would you equally want a car built on a day (when many others are having a public holiday) by disgruntled workers?

I'd rather have a car built by happy, contented and refreshed workers!

Oh don’t tempt fait

My Cooper was built just after Christmas and we all know how well that was built.

I can't go through all that again.

Will the World Cup affect Mini production in June?

Minimum_wage has a good point; this worries me more than
the Queen's Jubilee.

Maybe June production is just not in the cards?
I am having second thoughts about Xenon's anyway.

The World Cup buzz is already starting here in SF.
Of course it could just be the fact that my wife is Italian
& a co-worker is Croat.

I think this may deserve a new thread.

Life is short! Why drive a boring car?!

During the Jubilee, the only affect on production is that they put a union jack on the roof of every car
