Blue Cooper Satellite Navigation - after buying the mini?

Just wondered whether BMW Sat Nav can be fitted on minis after you have bought them i.e. it wasn't included in the optional specs?

Any ideas??

Wow! quite alot then!! My boyfriend has got the Tom Tom system installed in his car and it seems to work really well.

Sounds quite expensive then - might think about an alternative.

Thanks for your reply!

The Tom Tom Go is very good. The mount has the power connection, so if you clip it on the mount it start charging.

Get the car mount from www.brodit.se for it. You need two bits from brodit. One fits the MINI, one fits the Tom Tom Go, and they are screwed together.

The whole lot is a fraction of the price of the stuff from BMW, can be fitted in minutes, can be used on its own without a car (which is nice for planning a route at home), and is plenty loud enough to be heard when driving.

There are alternatives, such as pda combined devices which means you get two devices in one. Take a look at this GPS website for great info and great deals.

Enjoy

another happy TomTom Go user here. The only thing that would have made it better still would be postcode search.
