Exclamation The "NO major problems with my MINI" thread!

I am a new MINI owner (I got mine almost two months ago!), and I am even newer around this site. I've read so many posts of people describing really bad experiences with their MINIs that I think that I'm becoming a bit paranoid, even though my MINI has been a complete joy to own and drive so far!

So, as a way of calming down newer owners (like myself) I decided to start this thread so that owners of flawless MINIs (or nearly flawless, since interior rattles seem to be the norm) are able to tell their stories too!

I think that it would be nice if those happy owners include the model, age and mileage of their MINIs!

I thank in advance all of those who will share their "NO major problem" stories!!!

No issues. No rattles or loose fitments at all.

New software has cured 98% of the (previously minor) surging problem.

Would buy another in a heartbeat.

What happens DEADCANDANCER is that people with no problems don't post.
That would make for some very boring forums also.
In reality, 95% of the complaints come from about 3% of the owners... Oh, by the way,
36,000 miles on my 03 and no problems.

Well it bagan on 1st September 2003 when I took delivery of my Chili Red & White MINI Cooper, I drove her for nearly 16000 miles and had no problems I thought this was not right and after complaining to the dealerhips managed to trade her in on 1st September 2004 for a new MINI Cooper, this time Liquid Yellow & Black. You can imagine my horror that after 18 months and 22,000 miles with my second Cooper that I'm still experiencing no problems I've resigned myself to it now, accepted I'll have nothing to biotch and moan about, however I have put my name down for a new 145bhp Turbo Cooper in late 2006/early 2007 - with a bit of luck and all that new technology I'm bound to find some niggles

Your mileage is too low mo, that might be the cause of your no problems, try popping down south more often

My minor niggle, is that it keeps getting dirty. Been back to the dealers several times with it, and they say that there is nothing they can do.

Thinking of writing to BMW - maybe they'll fix it on the 2006 model.
