| Bad Dog, Moderator | Production Date Slippage... Not like I didn't expect it to happen. My production date had been held steady at Jun 21 since I got my production # at the end of April. I check it every day (ok, sometimes more than once ) and it never moved despite the car having all three packages. My dealer assured me I would be getting the xenons in the package but said production may be later than originally stated. This morning the dae slipped back a week to Jun 28. Here's to hoping it holds there, I dont want my first drive to require snow tires.Chili Red / Black Roof Cooper "S", delivered Aug 5, 2002. Offline | Why can't we check this in the UK, it would be nice? As we can't how much notice should I expect from my dealer to provide a date? I am concerned as I need to tie in the sale of my current car to help finance the purchase. If they give a date which then slips can I demand they provide a loan car? |

Offline | That is actually somewhat promising. If they only slipped you until the end of June, they still must plan having some headlights in early July. ![]() Cooper S - Chili Red w/Black The road goes on forever and the party never ends. |

Offline | gromit, Mine also slipped from 6/14 to 6/21 today (5/29). No surprise there...I've been watching closely for my status to change to "scheduled for production". Back to the waiting room... |

Offline | My production date slipped a week too, from 6/7 to 6/14. Im not getting the sport package (gotta update my profile) but getting it a la carte with out the xenons. Well who knows why this stuff happens. Im just curious if this is going on across the board with most everyone. Hang Loose `m/ 7/20 The Bulldog Came Home!!! Red Body, White Top... The MINI Cooper S |

Online | My non-Xenon 'S' was scheduled to be built next week, but finished production and was released for distribution yesterday (05/28). It's now waiting for a train to the port. ![]() ![]() |
