Offline | Not much so far... other than a garage door opener and my sun glasses, oh and change for tolls that's about it. When golf season rolls around(still 3' of snow on the ground) then it'll be the clubs and shoes. When I go mtn biking it'll be the bike, shoes, hydration pack and a clean cotton shirt to change into after the ride. ![]() |

Offline | Basic set of tools I carry and have in EVERY car I own, plus a Mini maglight, maps, a towel, a folding knife and a 3 legged folding chair. I leave all the firearms in the gun safe except when I am traveling to the range. I don't trust myself as there are too many drivers here is the U.S. deserving to be ... And AL Capone had those spiffy Thompson machine guns. They require a Federal Firearms License which requires MAJOR hoops to be jumped through to acquire. Mike |

Offline | The usual - ice scraper, mag, light, detail brush, garage door opener, I -pass transponder (for tolls). A question only a Floridian could pose. Snow is very reflective and can be very hard on the eyes even on cloudy days. Have you ever heard the term snow blind? By the way the sun does shine even in cold climates. ![]() |

Offline | Yes I'm serious, and no I'm not crazy.... I'm a clay target shooter. (Sporting Clays, not much Trap or Skeet). Since the game originated in Europe and my shotgun (as most fine shotguns do) came from Europe, I thought Europeans would be familiar with the sport. If you haven't tried it, you should. It really is a tremendous amount of fun. The only thing more fun than turning a target into dust is taking a brand new beginner out to the range and coaching them and watching their face when the first time they really get a good solid hit. Clay target shooters are generally the most friendly sportsmen you'll find. Beginners are always welcome, and people will usually go out of their way to be good will ambassadors for the sport. The shotgun fits in the boot quite well. My shotgun is an over/under double barrel. The barrels come off and the pieces go into a fitted luggage case for travel. The case is about 34 inches by 12 inches by 3 inches thick. A case of ammo is fairly small and compact but weighs about 25 pounds. My shooting bag is like a big camera bag and holds spare choke tubes, shooting glasses, ear plugs, towel, bug repellant, gun oil, ammo pouch, etc. Shooting is my primary hobby, but I am also a car lover. I don't always have the shotgun with me, but I go to the range 4 or 5 times per week so I have it with me quite a bit. I wouldn't consider owning a car that couldn't carry my shooting equipment, so no Miatas or Z3/Z4's for me. Rawhyde PS I was curious about the responses I'd get when I posted that... |
