Boots, steep hills and encyclopedias

The boot on my 2003 s used to rattle so after about 8 months I went back to dealer and they tweaked it . It dosn't rattle now but you really have to slam it to get it to shut and the little red warning light to go off.
The other day i was going to work with briefcase, laptop, box of stuff for work and eldest sprogs prized encyclopedia (''knowledge is power''-Reg Holdsworth) and the boot seemed shut even though the light was on. While going up steep hill boot sprang open- i noticed a suddenly clean view in my rearview mirror.Fearing the worst i stopped, swore to take the car back soon and get them to look at it and checked the laptop was still there.
It was only later in the evening when Mrs Meds asked if i'd done the photocopying from the encyclopedia that i realised it had gone...Frantic searching followed in the vain hope it was abandoned by the roadside.
The next day i was wondering how to tell H about his book when a little girl came up to me in the school playground and produced it! Obviously having a MINI makes you instantly reconisable to even 8 year old kids

Boot flies open, book flies out, book is lost. Girl returns book.
It's a Mini adventure
The End.
I think you should submit this for the next TV advertising campaign
