Offline | HELP!! I can't decide to save my life!! I was wondering if I could get a general consensus on which body kit that I should get for my '05 MCS. I have been debating between the 3 of these kits for the last month so I figure I will try and get some help on here to sway me in the right direction. Thank you all ahead of time for your help and replies!! ![]() I have a DS w/Black top MCS if that helps at all and the wheel arches will match the body along with the kit also I have Black ASA AR1 w/Chrome Mack lip wheels on order. Again thank you!! |

| 2003 PS MCS | Well really, it comes down to what you like, not what we like but since you want an opinion my vote is for number 1, the Aero kit which I've always admired. I can't stand the second one, butt ugly if you ask me, and the third one is pretty nasty as well ![]() Cheers. J\ |

| sandwiches | I've got the same color combination and have looked a little into body kits. My preference is definitely for the 1st one (the factory MINI one). But all i'm looking at is aesthetics. The other two are just TOO MUCH. They take away from the elegance and grace of the car. The factory one is like a subtle extension of the original design. But like I said, i'm only going by looks. The others may be better at aerodynamics or venting or anything else....i don't know. I don't know if you're like me, but i got the DS/B in order to go for a slightly classier feel. It's not too flashy like the reds/blues/yellows/etc... (not that there's anything wrong with those...just not my style). So putting a flashy body kit would just defeat the purpose for me. Hope this helps and I hope i didn't offend anybody. |

Offline | Another vote for the Aero Kit. There is no comparison, it is the most pleasing to the eye. I particularly love the body coloured side skirts that come with the kit. p.s. I am biased though as I am having the full Aerokit fitted to my Mini on Thursday ![]() |

Offline | i'm not a fan of body kits at all (although I wanted to have the grey plastic painted body colour) but 1 is OK and 2 and 3 are horrible. in fact i think the aero kit looks better from the side and back. Have fun! ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | has too be number 1 aero kit. I have this fitted to my MCSC and definitely looks the best of the 3. However one thing I wasn't aware of the rear bumper has silver mesh grills either side, these are actually stickers, very effective. On mine these have started to peel away and my dealer are having to replace them 2-6 week leadtime ? cheers nickw |

Offline | I was worried then thinking your dilemma was that you couldn't decide whether to save your life or not!!! anyway - definitely no.1 - the aerokit looks superb. the others look awful in my opinion. |

Offline | Personally I wouldn't get any body kit but if did "need" one get the oem body kit. Your car will be easier to sell on with that than any non-oem one. Red/Black R56 Cooper |

Offline | Thank You Everyone For Your Replies Just wanted to thank you all for the quick replies on my dilemma. I was leaning towards the Aero kit as well as some of you said it just looks way more classier than any other and its not too much. I never thought about the resale and someone said it best that it would be easier to resale with the Aero Kit. I know that its really gonna come down to what I will be happy with but seriously I like to hear everyones opinion as you are the ones that will be seeing me out on the roads and I would like the response to be a pleasant one and not WHAT THE HELL DID HE DO TO HIS MCS hahaha!! But seriously I cannot thank you all enough, I do believe that I will go for the 1st choice and get the Aero Kit. I hope everyones day has gone well and I will catch up with you all soon. Take care!!
