me and the fiance are having words regarding suitable music for the car.. she keeps trying to put on commercial dance cds while i am trying the strict rules of only the following Genres
Jazz and funk
Quincy Jones original movie soundtracks
full on Mod (the who the Kinks The Jam etc)
Acid Jazz (brand new heavies etc)
I personally feel this goes with the car (and i admit to being a mod and am using it as an excuse)
Any thoughts people?

for me nothin is better than

daft punk
fat boy slim

or some thumpin house tunes. hed kandi compilations are rather good.

failing than i would agree with buttons.

metal / rock when the mood is required. but for me its linkin park and lost prophets....

i suppose music suits the individual in the same way the MINI provides individuality

I prefer an ipod jammed with about 12000 mp3's so you're too busy trying to find one decent song than actually driving. Or rollin with Kool and the gang...MC Hammer.... maybe some Milli Vanilli?

I tend to err on the side of dance or chillout. One of my best mates brother is a DJ so I'm always getting some funky new stuff fresh from the clubs I am also a die hard New Order (especially on looong drives), Monaco, Electronic fan. Ooh ooh and don't forget the church, endorphin etc.

At the moment I love driving with the roof down listening to Muscle Car - Mylo
