Automatic window lowering with key????Strange

Was just in my local asda,as i was walking back to my car,i opened it with the key but by accident press a couple of buttons n both windows lowered as it opened but only down to a certain level,is it jus a miracle/electric error or is there a setting for this????

its a feature, press it a couple of times, it lowers a little. Press again, lowers a little more, press and hold they lower fully.

Now you can jump into ur mini dukes of hazard style!

Press and hold the unlock key and, as long as you have it programmed (default in most markets now) the windows will lower until you release the key. You can't close them remotely though, only in the lock.

See FAQ on factory "memory" options.

another handy features I was told about the other day:


If you wanna quickly see your mileage or the time etc without having to put the key in the ignition, just pres the trip counter button and all is reaveled!

hehe, you know what...i noticed somthing the other week too, which i didnt even know existed on my car (had it a year too). Handles on the underside/inside of the boot to help you close it...find somthing new every day

it doesnt need to have a purpouse..it looks damn cool. spesh on hot days. You can close the windows by putting the key into the lock on the drivers side and holding it to the left. that also looks kinda cool.

FYI, they're knocking 'comfort opening' as it is known on the head soon (as a factory default) due to complaints.
Although Minty tried to explain it's poin/purpose to me the other day, I still don't get it... Must be thick or something.

Cars built after March 21st will not have comfort opening programmed at the factory.
