Wink I could be selling my MINI in 2005 then!!

Just seen the front cover of Autocar mag. with the Ford Focus Cosworth on it.

If that thing goes and handles as well as it looks, then my MINI days could be over in 2005!! (when it is supposed to be launched!!!)

The MINI is the ultimate package for me at the moment, but you never know after a road test in the Cosworth!!

(unless, that is, MINI do something more with the "S"
The trouble is, they made the standard Cooper so darn good, it's going to have to be something very special to get me to change to an "S"!)

I want to keep the MINI for sure, but I want to get a track day car, motorbike, convertible, house & a winning lottery ticket

That?

If that is it, then I'm totally lost as why anyone would swoon over it at all. Especially, to consider having it instead of a MINI seems like falling headlong for something just because it’s new. (and a tarted up Focus certainly ain’t new)

+ 2002 MINI Cooper S - Dark Silver / White roof, Sport, Premium, Lapis blue leather
+ 1965 Mini Traveller - Tartan Red / White roof, 1275, Cooper S discs, fully restored/renewed

I'd say something about that Ford Focus as well, except that everytime I look at those photos I fall asleep outa boredom. IMHO, of course.

Well I'd rather have this.

Ford FR200.

It was acceptable in the 80's

you guys are kidding right?!?!?

that's a 2005 model? Any Rice Boy Tuner here in NY can do that by next week

I pray to God there will be something more interesting to pick from by 2005.
