hi

i have been able to attach files but i have noticed that memebers can place images in this section where i am typing now so you dont have to click on them to see an image because it is already there. how do i do this when adding a new topic or reply???

has it got some thing to do with the image button next to the bullet points and Insert hpyerlink??

please help

One of the easiest ways of doing it is to upload the picture 1st to your Personal Gallery.
This feature is hidden right at the top of any page
Galleries > Personal > Create & Manage > Upload Images

Then you can follow the instructions given on the gallery page about putting it up here.
Alternatively you can sometimes link an image directly from another website by pasting the link to it, & surrounding it with [IMG]a[/IMG] tags

The technique for putting the picture of your car up above was slightly different.
After finding the pic in one of your previous posts & expanding the thumbnail, I right clicked on it and copied its properties data (as below but without the brackets)

Then if you get rid of some of this data by shaving it so..
(http://www.mini2.com/forum/attachment75998)
and adding the (.jpg) extension at the end ..
(http://www.mini2.com/forum/attachment75998.jpg)
Then highlighting it & click the "Insert Image" button above , which puts the [IMG] tags correctly at either end
The pic should hopefully then appear as above

If you want to play around with uploading and links etc then you can use the Off Topic Testing area
